Artist Info ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cutnice (aka Miraldo Walden) started his career in 1985 when he met local artist "e-life". From here he started to practice and play at small local venues. In 1990 he finally turned pro with getting his first payed gig at very popular Rotterdam night spot "De VLERK" during a hiphop event. This was the start of a career that would take him to a level not often seen in the dutch hiphop scene. Playing at popular party's like Flavour of the month, Baroeg and even dj-ing for a local rap group "lethal posse". In 1995 he went back to the classics diggin' into the record collection of his dad lookin for those rare grooves, funky breaks and soul greats. This same year Tyrone v/d meer. (An event organiser who was also the manager of the world famous 010 bboyz) invited him to fill the dj spot as a regular for the group. He gladly accepted not knowing this would bring him into a whole new scene and also what effect this would have on his career. Cutnice:" this time was hiphop was funky fresh" Now Cutnice is the authority on dj-ing at bboy jams in the netherlands. He is the resident dj of jams like; Dutch bboy, IBE, Planet Rock, Battle of the benelux, Spinoff and the battle of Sneek. His style is widely respect by bboys and he features on many mixtapes. Not forgetting his many shows at the party's he still plays at. Also like the b-boy jams the hottest party's in the netherlands (chocolate(rotterdam), urbangrooves, hiphoplounge, North sea Jazz festival, Drum rhythm festival and Lowlands to name a few. He is very happy his career his not restricted to only the netherlands. He has toured in Johannesburg(south Africa), Istanbul(turky), in Gent(belgium) at the international B-girl battle and the Battle of munster(germany) for already three years, Battle of the east in dresden(Germany) and Splash Festival(chemnist, Germany) two year now. After all this and till the future he wil always think of hiphop as" funky fresh" Miraldo walden is currently residing in the city of Rotterdam, The netherlands. But was born in Surinam (south america) in 1971.
